Play Therapy

Play therapy is a creative form of therapy for children with special educational needs (SEN), particularly those who have experienced trauma or emotional difficulties.

LEX Center believes in personalised case management and works closely with each child and the family to understand their strengths and weaknesses and then design appropriate games accordingly. Using sandplay, puppets, toys, etc. as therapeutic media, child-led play can allow children to freely release emotional distress, stress, or inner feelings that cannot be expressed in words, thereby bringing about positive changes in the child's psychology. Play therapy allows children to have a comfortable and relaxed channel to express emotions, enhance self-understanding, integrate into society, and promote their development and growth.
